Injured Nigeria international Victor Moses has won Stoke City’s Goal of the Month Award for March.
The goal was voted by Stoke City fans through the club’s website.
The winger, who is on loan at Stoke City from Chelsea, scored a sublime header against Everton as he backpedaled but managed to still generate enough power to beat Tim Howard in the Toffees goal to give The Potters the lead from 15 yards out.
The former Wigan star received 72 per
cent of the votes, beating both Mame Diouf efforts against Crystal
Palace (28 per cent) and Everton (0 per cent).
He scored three goals in the league for The Potters before his most recent injury setback.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles forward also made the news in a remarkable fashion in the Daily Mail’s list of the top 10 shirtless goal celebrations in football, coming in at the number eight position on the log.
